I always see people getting offended over things without analyzing them first and being observant of other things around, wether similar or not. I like it when people think before they talk about sensitive things. Also, people are such followers now they that anyone hardly has an original opinion and if someone does have an opinion they are too afraid to say it. I don’t care if you say you’re an introvert. Sometimes you have to become an extrovert no matter how much of an introvert you are. It’s ridiculous to keep things inside because you could be on the cusp of something great but because you’re shy you’re holding it back from everyone.
I’ve also realized so far that if you listen to everyone you learn something. Whether worthwhile or not but what’s important is that you learn. It helps you distinguish truth from bullshit, helps you formulate your opinion, in turn yourself.
Also, the iconic quote by Wilhelm Stekel really got to me after reading Catcher in the Rye, though I think the book was just a sad plight for people to listen to something that wasn’t said all too well at all.

MUSIC: King Krule - Will I Come (Heartbeat(s) Edit)
King Krule is seemingly everywhere these days, which makes the British singer-songwriter a consistent target for remixes. Accordingly, Vancouver-based DJ/producer Heartbeat(s) has chosen to let loose of an edit of Archy’s “Will I Come” track.
In La Femme à Paris the author Octave Uzanne dubbed a woman’s clothing ‘her offensive armour’ - but, in reality, fashion seldom offers protection from the violence of the modern world. The clothing adopted when a woman is at her most vulnerable to attack - the heels, furs and jewels of evening attire - actively works against the idea of self-preservation.
Nick Knight sought to challenge this: born from a desire to protect his own two teenage daughters and inspired by the ‘Slutwalk’ movement of women reclaiming the right to dress as they wish without being seen to invite attack, Knight decided to address the notion of self-defence through a fashion shoot. For this, he chose to collaborate with two much-celebrated and empowered female fashion figures - model Lara Stone, and stylist Carine Roitfeld - to redefine the notion of ‘Power Dressing’ for the twenty-first century.
